Terry and Christina served in Hungary for 8 years with their 3 daughters; ministering to Hungarians in their native language, considered by many to be one of the most difficult languages in the world! Together they started a Hungarian church and transitioned it to local leadership, helped grow a network of church planters in the capital city of Budapest, and led street evangelism, outreach, and discipleship. Prior to Hungary, the Cokenours lived in Houston, Texas where they spent over a decade in church planting and biblical higher education.In 2020 Terry became VP of Mobilization for LINKS International-USA, based out of Texas. Together with Christina they are mentoring missionaries and church planters, bringing an experienced voice, wisdom, and training to those God has called into ministry.
