Growing up in a Christian family, I (Meg) can’t remember a time when I didn’t know God loves me. It was an easy choice for me to follow Him. While I was in college, God put a love for Hungary in my heart as well as a call to missions.
After graduation, I had the opportunity to be a part of English camps in Hungary. During this time, God confirmed that Hungary was the place for me to be, and I was happy to return as a long-term volunteer and then a career missionary.
Eventually, my general love for Hungarians became very specific as I met and married my husband, Gábor. God has blessed us with three lovable children—Peter, Evelin, and Gabriel.
I am The MomCo's (formerly MOPS) Global Ministry Developer for Western and Central Europe. This includes: Hungary, Belgium, Croatia, Austria, Germany, France, Netherlands, Estonia, and Lithuania. Some Mom groups meet in English, some in Romanian (in the immigrant communities), and many meet in their local language.
In the years I’ve been here in Hungary, I’ve seen God work in wonderful ways to draw people to Himself. I consider it an honor and a joy to be a part of that work. Through English clubs, our MomCo groups, Sunday school and theological training, I love connecting with people and being part of their discipleship journey.
